Type: MA | 2 year jaar
Taal: Engels

The Religion, Church and Society major is shaped primarily by the departments of Practical Theology and Religious Studies and Missiology. It challenges you to study conceptions of God and faith in various contexts today and engage in constructive dialogue with them. This begins with understanding what is actually happening in Church and society. In addition, special attention is paid to theoretical and practical aspects of faith transmission and church development, to challenges of leadership and changing authority structures, and to studying contemporary missiological issues. Through field or literature research, you can independently reflect on these questions and acquire further skills in the context of your thesis. You will thus acquire knowledge and competencies for pastoral responsibilities and/or a leadership position in a church, in organizations or in society.
